Proper
syringe care aids in beef quality |

Do not re-insert a used needle into a vaccine
bottle.

Change needles frequently. Consider every 10 to
15 head.

Discard any needle with a burr or bend. Avoid
broken needles. Surgically remove if necessary.

Rinse out disinfectants properly. They can kill
modified live vaccines.

Make sure injection site is clean.
-
Mark and separate syringes. Use different
syringes for modified live and killed vaccines.
-
Keep vaccines out of sunlight.
-
Avoid exposure to high heat.
